The Summit aims to develop a national framework for digital collections in organisations such as archives, galleries, libraries and museums. The Summit has been organised by the Collections Council of Australia.

Speakers at the Summit will come from the four major collecting domains of archives, galleries, libraries and museums, as well as from government and the digital content industry. David Dawson, Head of Digital Futures with the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council in England, will present the keynote address.
